Valorant, the Counter-Strike and Overwatch type tactical shooter, launched a closed beta on Tuesday, April 7. Valorant Beta Drops come in the form of a whitelisting. There are no keys that players will get to access the game. If a player has been whitelisted by a drop they will get a twitch alert telling them that they can play the game. This is why players need to link their Riot and Twitch accounts.
