Dies ist eine alte Version des Dokuments!
That's about it for this year I guess. I don't know if it's doable, but I'm hoping that if Screen Rant continues to grow (tell your friends about the site, will ya??) that next year I can afford to bring Bruce, Jamie, Heath and Kofi to help cover Comic-Con 20
Similar to the Scream Awards , I really dig the Saturn Awards because of the types of films they celebrate. Often with awards like the Oscars and the Golden Globes, purely fun films that have every bit of merit as the serious ones get left
So the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con is officially over - today feels like coming down from a „high.“ Covering the Con is always a whirlwind, but at least this year (my second covering it) I felt like a was a bit more in cont
What an unbelievable mess this whole Watchmen movie fiasco has turned into. The average person has to ask themselves: How the heck does something like this happen? I mean, Click Link isn't this why corporations have massive legal departments stocked chock full of everyone's favorite people: lawy
Enduring the almost literally ear splitting (due to the almost non-stop screaming of female fans) Twilight panel, having to listen to questions from the audience like „boxers or briefs,“ and watching some of the castmembers totally work the audience with their „yeah I know I'm hot“ attit
Last year was brutal, as I was covering the Con not only in general for Screen Rant but in particular for AdvancedIron.org , the number one Iron Man fan site in the world (with some help from my pal John Comerford). This year I was determined to relax a bit and enjoy the event m
Here's just some of my quick thoughts on who and what's been nominated: I'm glad to see so many nominations for my favorite show Lost , racking up nine in total (nice to see Josh Holloway finally get recognition for his acting). I'm delighted to see Sam Rockwell get recognition for his fantastic performance in Moon (I was really annoyed that he didn't get nominated for an Osc
While Watchmen and Terminator Salvation were big this year along with Wolverine , they weren't „Iron Man big“ as far as generating buzz on site. I have a feeling that next year's Con will have more to offer comic book fans with Iron Man 2, Captain America and The Avengers movies coming out in 2
The Return of a Legend—The evolution of the new film and a tribute to the legendary hero and his creators. (HD)Pre-Production—Follows Steven Spielberg as he creates animatic sequences, Shia LaBeouf as he learns to swordfight and captures the reunion of filmmakers and cast on the soundstage.
Today marks the day when the nominations for the 36th Annual Saturn Awards are given out. In case you're not familiar with them, they are given out by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films (they also include TV shows and stage productions) so as a reader of Screen Rant I believe they're right up your alley
I know we missed a lot, but it was just myself and Bruce Simmons on the beat, as opposed to most of my online movie friends who seemed to each have their own entourage of minions (you know I mean that affectionately, guys) to help them cover far more than we could. At least as a bonus Bruce turned out to be a photography buff and we were able to provide you with a few pictures of this year's event. Actually I think he still has a couple hundred in his camera that didn't managed to make it onto the ser
Personally, I'd love to see a sequel to The Rundown , which I think is an under-appreciated film that features Dwayne „The Rock“ Johnson and Sean William Scott cooking up some great comedic chemistry. I'd much rather he concentrate on doing another one of that than do Hancock 2 , because frankly, I don't wanna' see another Hancock . To me, the first installment was a fun-at-times film, but one that didn't live up to its huge potential, IMHO. And the story was fine for one film, but the possible sequel storyline pitched by Berg awhile back didn't sound that good to
„To get us all in the same room where we can talk and then agree on anything? You'll never meet a group of people who will have a harder time agreeing on anything… I think it will happen, we just all have to get in the same room with some consisten
I'm a little (no, A LOT) suspect of The Book of Eli , Transformers 2 and Wolverine getting nominated for Best Fantasy Film (and District 9 didn't?!) and New Moon and The Box getting nominated in the Horror category (were either of those even horror movie
Keeping in line with all of the rest of the major awards, films like Avatar , The Hurt Locker and Inglourious Basterds have snagged a high amount of noms, with a couple of fan-favorites like District 9 and Star Trek also being inclu
Are you looking forward to Hancock 2 ? Are you annoyed it will be hitting theaters later rather than sooner? Would you be bothered if Berg didn't come back to direct again, since he appears to be ultra-busy with other proje
