Arenas fights feel like a proper back-and-forth. Yes, sometimes you get trounced, and sometimes you do the trouncing, but the way Respawn has set it up means it’s not long until you’re in a war. To win an Arenas match, you need to have won at least three rounds, but you also need a two-round lead. This means close battles go on for a while, sometimes resulting in a deadlock where you get a bunch of materials to buy whatever you like and start the combat with red shields - the winner takes all. Arenas is tense, tactical, and tight. It feels like something that’s destined to become a popular esport, but I’ll be using it mostly to prepare myself for those late-game 3v3 fights in Battle Royale. It’s the best way to improve your pure combat skills in A

[DK] I hope not. There are small differences right now, Lifeline's Ultimate and Valkyrie's Ultimate are different, but that's just to accommodate the needs of the mode, rather than balance. I hope we never have to be in a position where we have to change an ability between Arenas and Battle Royale for balance. That would be really awkward. One of the goals of Arenas is that you can use it as practice, right? You go in, you get lots of practice with your abilities, weapons and so on. And if we then say 'hey, you're practising one balanced state, but then you go into Battle Royale and that's different,' then, we've failed on that g

Loyal Gibraltar fans have seemingly ignored the fact that at one point in earlier seasons, his shields were nearly impossible to damage. However, this has not stopped the game from gaining over 100 million players since it was launch

Now that you know what Valkyrie’s abilities are, you probably have a good idea of how to play her in Apex Legends - but there are plenty of minor things you have to keep in mind in order to perform well in battle with this powerful Leg

Ultimate accelerants are items that players can pick up that will rapidly increase the charge level of a legends' ultimate ability. With Lifeline's ability being useful to the entirety of the team, it is no surprise that many players repeatedly give the accelerants to her. As displayed by this Twitter user , Lifeline players get bombarded with t

[Daniel Klein] We know a lot of people really enjoy our gunplay and movement - we think it's pretty decent - but Battle Royale just isn't their cup of tea. We just want more people to be able to play with the toys that we've built over the ye

There's no one deadlier with a grenade than Fuse, and his penchant for explosives becomes apparent with The Motherlode . With this Ultimate, Fuse launches a bombardment that explodes in mid-air. Afterward, its shrapnel spreads to the edge of his assigned area, encircling it in flames for 17 seconds. Aesthetically speaking, the Motherlode creates a flaming ring in the center of an area - perfect for trapping enemi

[DK] Yes, of course. I mean, that's a thing we have to keep in mind. But we are taking some steps to make sure our loot pool doesn't get too bloated. For instance, there was a limited-time mode earlier this year called Locked And Loaded where all white loot was removed from the ground, but it had some long term balancing problems that we're not okay with. But we are taking steps toward that state. In Legacy you will see everybody starts with a starter kit, so a white armour, white knockdown shield, white helmet, two cells, two syringes. It's really good, by the way, it just feels like you can land and you don't immediately lose if the enemy finds a purple armour and you find nothing. This will allow us to remove white helmets etc. from the loot pool. We have further work going into future seasons where we're hopeful that, if we can pull it off, we can remove even more. And obviously we are always rotating hop-ups out of the game as we put new ones

Twitter user @ApeCompetitive accurately sums up what many Lifeline players go through in every game. In the heat of battle, occasionally some gamers forget about teamwork and go all out to take all the loot they can find. This happens more noticeably when a care package is called in by players using Lifeline. There are three slots in the package which means that in trios, there would ideally be an item for each team mem

Valkyrie is a brand new Apex Legends Walkthrough Legends character with a deep history that ties into Titanfall 2 . Even her abilities are inspired by the Northstar Titan , and for good reason. The biggest new addition to the game is Arenas .
