In addition to Armor, Weapon, and Saving Throw proficiencies that vary for each class, the pool of Skills you can choose from are different for each class. These cannot be changed once you get past character creation without resetting your build.

Players should seek out the Spell Savant Amulet in Act 3 to keep in the inventory for emergencies, since wearing it will grant an additional level 2 spell slot and each party member can use that bonus spell slot once per long rest. The Shelter of Athkatla (Looted from Lorroakan in Act 3) provides advantage on saving throws against all spells and lets you cast Mirror Image for free once per long rest, making for an excellent defensive option. That said, the Robe of the Weave can also be acquired from the Tower where Lorroakan can be found , in the same location as Markoheshkir and contained within another orb. This Robe gives the wearer +2 AC and a +1 bonus to Spell Attack Rolls and Spell Save DCs. It also heals you whenever you succeed a saving throw against an incoming spell, which can be handy.

This section covers the best equipment for Circle of the Moon Druids in BG3 across all three Acts. Some pieces from early Acts may still be powerful in later ones, though, and will remain equipped through several Acts.

At level Six, Wild Magic Barbarians gain three „Bolstering Magic“ abilities, which allow them to provide a bonus to themselves or an ally in melee range. They can use „Bolstering Magic: Boon“ to add a 1d4 bonus to attack rolls and ability checks or use their Bolstering Boon to restore a single level one, two, or three spell slot.

In Baldur's Gate 3 , Druid builds can be enhanced further with the use of specific consumables. Certain potions, like the Elixir of Heroism, will grant combat-oriented bonuses for this best Druid build, while others, like the Elixir of Barkskin, will enhance the Druid's defenses, which tend to be low thanks to low-AC equipment that the class can use.

But aside from useful racial spells, Githyanki give another important benefit to Wizards: armor proficiencies. As a Githyanki Wizard, players can equip Light and Medium armor, a huge AC boost over robes and clothing. The Astral Knowlegde ability can be incredibly useful for Dialogue checks and dice rolls, too. However, depending on how you like to play your Druid, the Outlander background might feel more fitting. This background grants proficiency in Athletics and Survival instead of Animal Handling and Survival, and Athletics can be very useful in combat. The Swarmkeeper Ranger subclass allows the Ranger to forge a connection with a swarm of fey spirits , which take the form of either Bees, Jellyfish, or Moths. This swarm provides them with movement and combat benefits, allowing them to weaken foes with status effects, reposition more easily, and apply extra damage to their attacks based on the Swarm's form. At third level, you choose between one of three swarm types:

This multiclass choice has little impact on a character's ability to use high-level spells. Because both classes are Prepared Spellcasters, and the ability to learn from scrolls only requires one level, a Cleric 11 Wizard 1 character will still be able to use Level 6 spells and have Level 6 spell slots unlocked.

Many builds in baldur's gate 3 Guide Gate 3 are based on a single subclass or mechanic of a class, and in the Druid's case, this is the Circle of the Moon subclass and its enhancements to the class' intrinsic Wild Shape ability.

For defensive options, players should pick up the Cloak of Displacement from Entharl Danthelon in Wyrm's Crossing and the Boots of Persistence from Dammon in the Lower City (assuming he survived until Act 3.) The former gives enemies disadvantage on attack rolls against the wearer until the first time the wearer takes damage on each turn. The latter provides permanent Freedom of Movement (same as the spell), Longstrider (same as the spell), and a +1 bonus to Dexterity saving throws. The „Legacy of the Masters“ gloves are also sold by Dammon during Act 3, offering +2 to attack rolls and damage with all weapons. Picking these up can make any martial character more effective , so they're worth grabbing if Dammon is alive.

As time goes on, the best Wizard build Subclass could change. But until then, the Evocation Wizard's ability to protect teammates from their own arcane destruction is really nice at Level 5, when Wizards pick up Fireball.

Thanks to this proficiency, Bards won’t impose attack disadvantages or prevent spellcasting even when wearing Light Armor.

Proficiency, Weapons (Simple, Hand Crossbow, Longsword, Rapier, Shortsword)

The max level in Baldur's Gate 3 is Level 12, and though not every class will be offered a choice to make at every level, classes with access to spells tend to have something to do at every level up. As a hybrid spellcaster and melee class, this BG3 Druid build has plenty of choices to make on the way to max level.

Defensive Duelist: When attacked while holding a Finesse Weapon, Bards can use a Reaction to add their Proficiency Bonus to their AC. In situations where Bards can’t afford to get hit by an attack, this can be a lifesaver.
