This act outlines the rights and obligations of both employers and employees regarding workplace injuries. It establishes the framework for compensation benefits, including medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and wage replacement.

The WCIM Act is designed to ensure that injured workers receive timely and adequate support while also encouraging employers to maintain safe work environments. The system operates on a no-fault basis, meaning that employees do not need to prove negligence on the part of their employer to receive compensation.
