One survived." But what about after that? Well, Berg didn't say, but hasn't ruled out a sequel to his action-adventure, The Rundown . He's not sure why there hasn't already been plans put in place to do The Rundown 2 , but said he'd definitely be up for doing anot

Those who check film credits as part of their movie-watching routine know that prior to Pan's Labyrinth Guillermo helmed the excellent and under-talked-about Hellboy (and, of course, its sequel, The Golden Army ). He's went from being known simply by the more avid fan, to getting the full attention of film fans everywhere, particularly when Peter Jackson handpicked him to helm the upcoming two-part adaptation of The Hobbit , arguably the most anticipated film project of any that's upcom

What's nice is the difference between both commentary tracks. While the philosophers gush over every aspect of the trilogy, even when you know they should back off, the critics have a much more visceral eye for content. I'm not amongst those who think Reloaded and Revolutions are wasted films. In fact, I like them, just not as much as the first, which is tough to b

Despite this, I still have faith in the man to pull off all he has committed himself to. Like I said, he certainly has the talent as a filmmaker to pull it all off, we've seen that with the likes of Pan's Labyrinth (which, if you haven't seen already, do so ASAP - it really is that good), Hellboy (not so much with the sequel, although it was still a fun watch) and The Devil's Backbo

Synopsis: Based on the video game, the film follows an adventurous prince (Jake Gyllenhaal) who teams up with a rival princess (Gemma Arterton) to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the wo

2008 delivered the kind of summer that superhero and action movie geeks dream of - this is the year that brought us three bonafide superhero movies: Iron Man , The Incredible Hulk and what was that third one... oh yeah: The Dark Knig

Not only is he one of the most proud filmmakers out there, but this is (at the time of recording) his own best work. During the famous Christopher Walken/Dennis Hopper conversation scene, he goes off about how that story came about and why it is so great. he then proceeds to stop talking and watch the sc

The director and two producer/writers keep the energy bearable and the information fascinating over 683 minutes of the trilogy discussing the incredible five-year production. From selling the scripts to casting decisions, a 15-month shoot to revolutionizing the art of motion capture, and a handful of visual effects discussions, these three know everything you need to know about the fantasy tale. And I mean everyth

On top of The Hobbit - which is going to be one time-consuming, exhaustive challenge to say the least (just think about the pressure he's under to "get it right") - he also has found the time to plan and start writing a trilogy of vampire novels, has a four-picture deal with Universal to make a Frankenstein movie, an adaptation the classic novel Slaughterhouse-Five , a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde movie, and an adaptation of the vampire novel Drood . After that, Universal hopes to pin him down for his "pet project" At the Mountains of Madness . To put it simply: He's booked solid until at least 2

As 2010 approaches, it's time to bid farewell to the cinematic happenings of 2K9 - but what does the near-future hold for movie lovers? Luckily for you guys, we here at Screen Rant are dusting off our crystal ball and looking ahead... all the way to the year 2

Synopsis: In this Ridley Scott adaptation of the classic tale, an archer (Russell Crowe) in the army of Richard Coeur de Lion fights against the Norman invaders and becomes the legendary hero known as Robin H

With the types of movies that del Toro makes, in particular Blade II and the two Hellboy movies, you'd think that he'd be very much in favor of the world of video games. And yet that's not entirely the c

I know we missed a lot, but it was just myself and Bruce Simmons on the beat, as opposed to most of my online movie friends who seemed to each have their own entourage of minions (you know I mean that affectionately, guys) to help them cover far more than we could. At least as a bonus Bruce turned out to be a photography buff and we were able to provide you with a few pictures of this year's event. Actually I think he still has a couple hundred in his camera that didn't managed to make it onto the ser

There's been much talk about a sequel to the 2008 surprise [[https://Superheromoviespot.com/|superhero movie games Cheats|https://superheromoviespot.com/]] hit, Hancock , with conversation picking up particularly when it comes to the cast of Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman possibly returning to do another. Director Peter Berg said a few months ago that everyone was excited to return , but not long after that Bateman came out and said he hadn't heard anything about him returning (we're still not sure if that cluelessness was applicable to Smith and Theron, t
