Playing it low, slow, and sneaky pays off. It reduces the frustrating instances of being victimized by a third party ambush, results in much more consistent RP gain, and will inevitably get you through the ranks much faster than challenging every single squad that crosses your p

For everyone else, streaming—where personality trumps skill—is the only way to make money from gaming. If the community stays as segmented and hastily constructed as it is, it’s tough to imagine esports becoming anything better than what it already is. If you’re happy with the current state of esports, good for you. But for someone who wants a more entertaining and structured esports community, something has to cha

Imagine an esports equivalent of ESPN. ESPN works because coverage of most traditional sports is basically the same. You point a camera at the field and watch what happens while two "experts" talk about what’s going on. Esports won’t and can’t work like this. Every game is drastically different from the next, with its own graphics, mechanics, and strategies to be emplo

With Aphelios' 5 weapons, two teamfights will never play out the same. The way he wants to approach a full 5v5 or a small skirmish will depend on his current main and off-hand weapons. The Calibrum, Infernum, and Crescendum Moonlight Vigils are very strong during developing teamfights, especially in small areas. The AOE damage and healing can win fights single-handedly. He can also use the AOE crowd control from his Gravitum Moonlight Vigil to initiate or disengage a fi

These are the standard runes for Marksmen. In the Precision Tree, Press the Attack gives solid burst damage in short skirmishes, Triumph and Bloodline provide sustainability in teamfights, and Coup de Grace allows Aphelios to secure kills and get further ahead. Part of the problem with esports is that there are simply too many games. There are hundreds of titles with professional leagues that award prize money, host tournaments, and stream competitions online. Each of these games and leagues has their own fans and their own way of doing thi

Aphelios has 5 unique weapons that each start with 50 Moonlight (Ammo). His basic attacks cost 1 Moonlight, and his abilities (Q and R) cost 10. Once his Moonlight hits 0 he will switch to the next weapon in the queue. Also, instead of upgrading his abilities when he levels up (like the other 146 champions in the game), the player can choose to upgrade either his Attack Damage, Attack Speed, or Armor Penetrat

These abilities continuously pay dividends as the ring constricts and advantageous positions become increasingly limited. Having a Pathfinder on board ensures that they're always reachable, whether you're looking to seize them for an advantage or desperately need a way to counter a team that's already set up in a hard to reach s

Some items have effects that benefit you as the player, such as the Friends and Family Discount item which drops the price of all units by one gold. Most items are equipped on specific heroes and grant powerful bonuses like the Black King Bar which makes the hero immune to magic. It’s important to equip the right items with the right heroes to get the most use out of them so choose which item you want and which hero you equip it on wis

But the story doesn't end here, with Dota 2 at unprecedented heights of success, it continues to climb alongside its professional counterpart, which speaks nothing but prosperity for its future in 2

As a Marksman who wants to use his abilities often and has empowered basic attacks, Essence Reaver and Runaan's Hurricane are core [[https://www.mobapulse.com/|MOBA Items Guide]] on Aphelios. Infinity Edge is usually the strongest third item, but the rest of the build depends on the enemy team and how the game is going. As for his unique stat leveling, maxing his Attack Speed or Armor Penetration is generally the best bet. Max Attack Speed first against a squishier team, and max Armor Penetration first against an armor stacking team. The Attack Damage Aphelios gains from leveling that stat does not scale well into the late g
