It was an incredibly strong showing for games this year with three major 'Game of the Year' contenders in Grand Theft Auto V , The Last of Us and BioShock Infinite all hogging the nominations. In fact, the program featured close categories throughout with Game of the Year, Studio of the Year, Best Independent Game and acting categories being especially tight ca

Next up, the actors were asked about the nature of their relationship with the group of workers. It seems that Fonteno thinks highly of his fellow colleagues, as he warmly said that Luke is like "a brother from another mother" and Ogg is the "father he never had," although initially it was weird at first, for him, because they both had "different colored sk

The content of these games shouldn't matter. The greater principle at stake here is the idea that people should be free to express their ideas, a value clearly held dearly by movie-goers but not so much by the gaming community. Society has spoken about movies: we want any film, regardless of how controversial the subject matter, to be available to the public in an exercise of our right to free speech and ideal of free expression. The question remains when, if ever, will society feel the same way about video games?

Later on, Luke and Fonteno reinforced the fact that the gig required large amounts of imagination because other than the occasional prop, there was nothing in the room. Ogg adds that the script for [[https://GTA5Play.com/|GTA 5 weapons|https://Gta5play.Com/]] V is brilliant and that it could have easily been 3500 pa

Sure, with the debut of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we've seen plenty of games loosely based on their big screen counterparts (e.g., Iron Man , Thor : God of Thunder, Captain America : Super Soldier, etc.). Most would agree, however, such iterations have been little more than hackneyed cash grabs to coincide with and supplement the movies. It's a shame, too, since many of the Marvel characters and their abilities could lend themselves to entertaining video game exploration. Not the least of which includes Iron Man. With his impressive stock of armored suits - all with different capabilities, weapons, and purposes (see: the Hulk Buster ) - and a rogues gallery only briefly tapped into onscreen, Tony Stark is ripe for his own blockbuster video game franchise, one that could rival Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham ser

The big movie news cannot be ignored: Sony decided it will not go forward with it's plans to release The Interview, a Seth Rogen film about a plot to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un. Sony was hacked and received threats, while the number of respectable movie chains who would take the film was dwindling. All at once, the internet (save for a few rogue supporters) cried out about free speech, bowing to terrorist demands and all-around support for Rogen and his now-canceled film. The equally troubling news is that no one cares when this happens to a video game.

The NPD's results also shared an 81% drop-off in sales for previous generation of platforms with the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii, while sales of the 3DS and PlayStation Vita have marked a 21% decline. In terms of software, physical game sales accounted for $212.7 million, seeing a 10% decrease year-over-year from $235.6 mill
It baffles me as to why Rockstar would even consider a first-person mode for GTA V. Perhaps it was the success of open-world shooters like Far Cry 3 that inspired them to do this, which is understandable. However, Far Cry 3 is a shooter. It’s built as a shooter and the shooting is a huge part of the game’s appeal. Sure, there’s exploration, but the action is Far Cry’s appeal by far. Grand Theft Auto V, for all its gritty action and violence, is not a shooter. Its action comes from something less primal and more intelligent. If anything, this first-person shooter setup does more to pander to the FPS crowd than to thoughtfully expand on what Grand Theft Auto has always been about.

Rocksteady managed to combine Batman's impressive weapons and action with a compelling storyline and even more compelling three-dimensional world. Video game developers should take note of Julio's successes as well as the various missing components to expand upon the mod and create an actual franchise for the character. And if they can convince Robert Downey Jr. to voice the character, the game could very well be a success before it even hits store shel

Overall, The NPD Group explained that consumers spent $605.2 million on gaming products at retailers in January, marking a 4% decrease from the same time last year ($627.6 million in January 2015). Hardware sales also accounted for $157 million in January, marking a 15% decrease from $185.4 million in the same period last y

Trevor's actor was also asked how he felt about the infamous torture scene, in which he replied that since "it was one of the most technical scenes [in the game] so I didn't feel much about it." He had to concentrate so intensely on pulling off the difficult scene that he had no time to feel outraged, upset or really any other emot
