The upcoming game isn't the only Death Stranding -related project Kojima Productions is busy with. There is also a Death Stranding movie in the works , which follows the trend of many recent IPs on PlayStation. The movie is being made in collaboration with Alex Lebovici, who is the executive producer of the movie Barbarian . Not much has been revealed about this movie, though Kojima claims it will be revolutionary. According to the auteur, "the Death Stranding movie is taking a direction that nobody has tried before with a movie adaptation of a game." He also claims that it is not a typical blockbuster film, but instead, it will be an arthouse mo

Since the infamously scary PT arrived to tease a Silent Hill reboot from Hideo Kojima, fans have been mighty impressed with the legendary game creator’s knack for horror. Some of these scary elements were adapted and used for Death Stranding , like the mechanics involved in hiding and running from BTs. Yet, there can always be m

Released in 2019, Death Stranding was the first game from Kojima Productions following Hideo Kojima's split from Konami . Both its gameplay and story were markedly different from Metal Gear Solid , moving to a post-apocalyptic walking simulator rather than a military sci-fi stealth game. Where MGS focused on political and militarist themes, Death Stranding was more concerned with human stories around themes of loneliness and ident

As it stands with the first Death Stranding , co-op is more passive multiplayer than anything else. Players can throw down signs, or leave things behind like parcels, bridges, and vehicles, but it still makes the world feel rather empty. As the only physical Sam , players may want something m

With no release date announced, and no news regarding any filming, it is highly unlikely that fans will see the film in 2023. However, gamers could find out more about the upcoming move this year, such as potential reveals regarding the cast. In theory, it should be relatively easy to cast for the Death Stranding movie, as many of the mocap performers such as Norman Reedus , Mads Mikkelsen, and Margeret Qualley are already movie st

If industry insider Tom Henderson is to be believed, the project Kojima Productions is busy with is titled Overdose , and it is a horror game. Henderson also claims that the game features Margaret Qualley and that players will be able to control the game using their mobile phones. None of these leaks have been verified, though Henderson has a track record that has made him a reliable source. It also seems in line with Kojima's aspirations, as he has shown interest in making a horror title for a long time. Though he briefly had an opportunity with Silent Hills , [[https://Fileprohost.com/|Fileprohost.Com]] he left Konami before he had the opportunity to execute on his id

Fighting humans also doesn't fit in much with the themes of Death Stranding , which leans very much into actively encouraging kindness and cooperation. Fighting human enemies not only tests one's patience on this front but is antithetical to this theme. The otherworldly and often terrifying BTs of Death Stranding are a much more nuanced enemy that should be focused on in Death Stranding 2 , while human enemies should be removed altogether or at least reserved for high-profile bos

Sam suffers from aphenphosmphobia - fear of physical contact - as well as a condition that seems to cause scarring or bruising on contact. For many, this parallels a time when contact with loved ones was frightening for fear of transmitting COVID

As a challenging and fun fighting game , it was a surprise to many just how well Injustice 2 did its facial animations. The game feels like a movie for the story mode of Injustice 2 . Seeing these iconic DC Comics superheroes and supervillains feels like a live-action movie considering just how grand and realistic the facial animations

Players will take control of the Los Angeles Police Detective Cole Phelps in L.A. Noire . For a detective game, Rockstar knew that players needed to rely on facial cues to fully utilize and come to the correct conclusions in interrogations and police questioning. L.A. Noire does a great job at facial animations, especially considering the game was made in 2

Death Stranding 's vehicles are very clunky and handle very poorly even on straight, even terrain. The vehicles need to be revamped at the least if not removed entirely. Despite often being the best choice for transporting packages, driving vehicles is a chore especially when there are far more interesting and innovative methods of travel. The slingshot, zipline, and robot sled are unique methods of transportation design and are often faster and more fun to use than vehicles. These types of movement should be more encouraged in a Death Stranding sequel. Creating differed, uneven terrain would lend well to this and would cause players to lean more heavily into Death Stranding 's multiplayer social features as players explore and create new transportation netwo
