From a gameplay perspective, Eyrie of Crows has some strong loops for survivors, with long walls on the upper level of the main building. However, the killer also has some advantages in this map, with the main building offering a bird's eye view of the entire map to locate surviv

Friday the 13th: The Game is a survival horror video game developed by IllFonic, first released in 2017 for the PC , Xbox One , PlayStation 4 , and has now ported to the Nintendo Switch . It plays similarly in theme to Dead by Daylight , with an almost identical premise. Although the port to the Switch performs adequately, the timing of the port is unfortunate in relation to another game coming in Septem

Following his escape by stabbing Jason in the throat with a knife, the AI then entered and exited the door over and over again. As Jason, I attempted to knock the AI out of loop by blocking the door, striking with my melee weapon, and grappling without executing a follow-up command, allowing the AI to escape. But somehow, it would always return to fixate on this door. Too often, other AI characters did the exact same th

L.A. Noire was an ambitious project from the get-go, spinning the narratives of multiple mysterious murders that fell to Cole Phelps to solve. Players would scope out crime scenes for clues, investigate bodies, and question possible witnesses to piece together the puzzle. Most witnesses even had tells eagle-eyed players could detect to see when they were lying, and certain dialogue options could be selected to try and deduce what was t

The game has a lot more going on. There are skill trees, potions to make, battles, and items to collect. This means you can invest a bit more in the game, as it requires you to be more attentive which encourages longer gameplay. There's often a throwaway sort of feeling with mobile games, but Wizards Unite is surprisingly d

Originating from the movie Saw, the map comes from the meat packing plant that Amanda uses as a base of operations in the third movie, including a room full of monitors, a frozen body, and bloody torture devices designed to twist unfortunate victims' limbs. Excellently designed, with some challenging loops for survivors to zone killers, the Game stands as one of the stronger in the maps but certainly is not the strong

On top of that, some of Comic-Con's fan-favorite TV series have been upgraded from the hallowed Ballroom 20, and will now be gracing the 5,000-seat Hall H. So, this year you won’t be able to simply sit in one room all day to catch many of the major television events has to offer at Comic-

Originally announced in 2020 and forecast for release in 2021, the [[https://Adventuregamesplus.com/|Adventure Game weapons]] went dark for long enough for fans to worry it had met its end. An announcement from Paradox finally admitted they had taken the project away from Hardsuit Labs, and that its development would be undertaken by a different studio. After a few more years of radio silence, fans gave up hope until another announcement in September 2023 proved that the game has awoken from torpor and will release in 2

In many ways, Wizards Unite was able to take the things that made Pokémon GO great and then improve upon them. This is definitely an advantage to having a second game that uses the existing maps and structu

It is frustrating to see that the AI appears not to have improved since the game first released in 2017. On the most difficult settings, counselors will run straight towards an advancing Jason despite not having any weapons. They will sometimes become stuck running on stairs or will enter into a loop of opening and closing the same door until attacked. The two images below are of the AI either running into the door without opening it, or entering, pausing briefly, and exiting, over and o

Wizards Unite has many more aspects to it and can feel a bit harder to understand. While, overall, it’s still about collecting supplies and items, the story is more complex which can make it seem like less of a straight line to an end goal. It's lacking a bit of that pick-up-and-play factor in compari

There’s something so compelling about collecting different kinds of Pokémon. Since Pokémon GO keeps adding new Pokémon as it goes along, it’s impossible to really catch them all, which makes you want to keep going. The creatures are cute and exciting, and you really feel like a Pokémon trai

The controls feel identical to its PlayStation 4 counterpart when using an 8BidDo sn30 Pro controller, which is to say that there are no issues in controlling the characters with a little practice. The game works well in docked or handheld mode, with one catch: the voice chat is native to the game and requires a microphone plugged into the Switch to function. Docked mode is effectively out of the question unless one foregoes communication, which isn't very feasible considering that this is a game that is meant to be played online with real people. Teamwork and clear communication are vital to surviving a skilled Ja
