| The running joke is that CS:GO players will have a field day by dominating all who dare oppose them. Yes, there are some brutally skilled players that can make you feel useless, but they will always exist in multiplayer games. I personally hadn't played a single game of CS:GO going into VALORANT 's beta, yet I've had a blast with the game so | Sova's second ability is called Shock Bolt which costs 100 credits each and the player can hold two at one time. The Shock Bolt is pretty self-explanatory. When fired, wherever it lands it explodes and does an area of effect of shock damage. The closer a player is to the blast, the more damage they will t |

Once the account has been created players will need to log in on a computer (this cannot be done on mobile) and connect their Twitch Account to their Riot acco | Her second ability, Poison Cloud, is a purchasable smoke grenade that costs 200 credits. Viper throws a small circular device that can be activated and shut off with a press of a button. When activated the device emits a poisonous cloud that deals decay damage and blocks the enemy's view like a smoke. This device runs on fuel and depletes Viper's supply over t |

| | In preparation for Valorant's summer 2020 release , Riot Games has slowly released information about the game and its characters. What players know about the game's world so far is that there are eight unique characters: Phoenix, Viper, Sova, Cypher, Brimstone, Sage, Omen, and Jett. Valorant is set on Earth, which is assumed from the fact that each character, or " agent " as they're known in the game, represents a real-life country. For example, agent Viper's nationality is from the United States , while Phoenix is from London. The fact that the agents have powers suggest either that magic exists in Valorant's world, or the character's abilities are based on some sort of advanced technol |

| Her first ability is called Snakebite and is a throwable canister filled with poison gas. Players will need to purchase these canisters at the beginning of a match for 100 credits and they will consume some of Viper's fule when used. Wherever the canister lands a small area will be covered in toxic material that slows agents and deals damage like a molo | Each VALORANT agent has four abilities. Two of these are basic, which are available to buy at the beginning of a round. The agents also have one signature ability, which is automatically available at the start of each round, and an ultimate ability, which must be charged before it can be used. Players can charge their ultimate by getting kills, defusing the spike, or capturing the Ultimate Orbs that are placed around the |

| Things that are important to note are that you cannot mute a stream via the twitch player. This will not count towards you viewing the stream and you will not have the opportunity to get a drop. Once you have connected your twitch account to your Riot account you can watch streams on mobile that have drops enabled for a chance to get a drop. Valorant Beta drops are only available for a certain time each day so make sure that drops are available before looking for a streamer who has them enab | Riot Games’ first-person tactical shooter _ [[https://valorantcentralhub.com/|valorant updates|https://valorantcentralhub.com/]] _ enters a closed beta period on April 7th, available for the lucky few who have been granted access. | Riot Games' newest game, Valorant _ , is a tactical hero-based shooter that relies heavily on gunplay as well as the use of skills. _Valorant has nine different "Agents" to choose from each with their own unique abilities. Mastering these abilities can give a player the upper hand in a fight, and pairing them with other agent's abilities could be the difference between victory and def | Again, Jett has the most abilities out of all nine agents, as she is currently the only agent with a passive ability. A passive ability is one that is always in use and does not need to be bought or activated. Jett's passive is called Glide, and it allows the players to glide from great heights making her able to float for a short distance. This makes her movement a little more unpredictable and also negates fall dam |

| This is the first clip I've seen of a blatant cheater in VALORANT , and someone from Riot responded within an hour. Considering how Twitter isn't the proper medium to report hackers on, that response time is stellar. As a disclaimer, I've yet to run into any suspicious players in the beta. Hopefully that number remains low, but the team at Riot seems determined to do everything in their power to keep their game's integrity uncompromised. If they stick the landing at launch, it would be unsurprising to see VALORANT to blow up into an esp | Jett's last normal ability is called Tailwind and acts as a dash forward. This ability can be used an unlimited amount of times but requires the player to get two kills in order to use it again in a single match. | Valorant's newest agent, Raze, was released alongside the closed beta. She is an explosives expert who deals massive amounts of damage, and her abilities focus on dealing damage through explosive means. Players are already taking notice of Raze's strength and have started to request that she be removed from the game. The amount of sheer power Razebrings to the battlefield makes her a must-have for any t | Jett's second ability is called Cloudburst, and is similar to many other agents' abilities as it works as a smoke grenade. The downside to using Jett's is that it does not last as long as many others' and it costs 100 credits. However, Cloudburst can be curved midair when thrown meaning Jett can smoke around corners. This is good for creating escape routes, and also deterring enemies from coming through doorways or through choke poi |

| Her first ability is called Boom Bot and can be purchased at the start of a match for 200 credits. Boom Bot, commonly referred to as a Roomba, is a mobile claymore that rolls into enemy territory looking for a player to blow up. Boom Bot is great for getting sneaky kills, but can also reveal the location of enemies. Rolling Boom Bot through a cloud of smoke is also a great way to surprise enemies and get a quick k | Sova has some incredibly unique abilities that are invaluable to any team. He also stands out amongst other agents who have recon abilities as his stand superior to others. What he lacks in mobility and defense, he makes up for in intel and dam |

| Like Counter-Strike, a game is split into two different phases: attacking and defending. When attacking, players need to pick one of two points to attempt to plant a bomb onto. Defenders try to keep attackers at bay holding them off of the points. If a bomb is planted, the defenders will then have to defuse the bomb. The amount of effort it takes to push on to a point and plant a bomb makes attacking the more difficult task, and that is why picking an agent who specializes in making attacking easier is very import | Each agent's abilities define how that agent is meant to be played. Jett is a character whose abilities make her the most mobile agent to play as. She also has the most abilities out of all of the current agents. While none of her abilities outside of her ultimate ability cause damage, knowing how to utilize her abilities makes her devastating in both 1v1 fights and against multiple enem |

| Sage's Slow Orb works mainly to cripple the enemy team's mobility, and can also work as a trap to help a teammate land a powerful hit. When used, Sage throws the orb and a large area is covered in green crystal wherever the orb lands. This area ground enemies leaving them unable to jump, and it cuts their movement speed in half. The area lasts for quite a while and the orb can be bounced off walls to reach areas around tight corners. Pairing the Slow Orb with Brimstone's Air Strike or with a teammates Molotov can deal serious damage to the enemy team. But be careful, the slow also affects your teamma | Hot Hands is Phoenix’s signature ability, giving the player a Molotov Cocktail-like ball of flames to use at their disposal. The fireball will explode and spread either on contact with the ground, or after a certain amount of time in the air, where it will take a nosedive to the floor below. Once detonated, the flames spread, covering the immediate area in a damaging fire. Hot Hands deals damage to both enemies and teammates, but, like Blaze, heals Phoe |

| Run It Back, Phoenix’s ultimate ability, allows the player to regenerate in a specific location. Once equipped, players can place a marker where they stand, and use the following few seconds to wreak havoc. After the player dies or the timer runs out, Phoenix will regenerate in the marked spot with full health. The player can use any of Phoenix’s other abilities and shoot weapons while the ultimate is active.
