| But enough from me, what and who will YOU vote for? As stated, you can cast your votes over at Spike.com , and you can see if the winners match your picks when the Scream Awards 2009 air on October 27th this year on Spike | There's been much talk about a sequel to the 2008 surprise [[https://Superheromoviespot.com/|Superhero Movie Games DLC|Https://Superheromoviespot.Com/]] hit, Hancock , with conversation picking up particularly when it comes to the cast of Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman possibly returning to do another. Director Peter Berg said a few months ago that everyone was excited to return , but not long after that Bateman came out and said he hadn't heard anything about him returning (we're still not sure if that cluelessness was applicable to Smith and Theron, t |

| You hear a lot about Crowe being a terror on film sets, but from all the outtakes and documentaries and commentaries I've heard him on, the man seems like a cool guy. The commentary is laid back, but gets into the grit of filming on location and in the heat of Europe. There are plenty of memorable snippets and the comedic aspect keeps it well-rounded and liv | Will Smith plays, of course, the title character: an apparently homeless alcoholic who just happens to have super-powers. When we meet him he's sleeping on a bench, cradling a bottle of whiskey - a young boy tries to wake him up because there's a freeway chase happening in which the bad guys are causing huge havoc and shooting at civilians indiscriminately. Hancock is none to eager to help, and the boy ends up calling him an A-hole, except not abbreviated. It's a term that is used over and over and over in the f |

| Lost should win Best TV Show (I love Dexter , but it's no Lost ); Best Horror Movie should go to Let The Right One In (I would say Drag Me To Hell , but since that's a comedy too, Let The Right One takes it for me); Best Actor in a Fantasy [[https://superheromoviespot.com/|Superhero Movie Games Updates|Https://Superheromoviespot.Com/]] Or TV Show should go to Brad Pitt for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button ; and Best Comic Book Movie should (EASILY) go to Watchm | What knocked the score down? The villain of the film comes out of nowhere, barely gets any screen time and just doesn't even seem like they're a part of the movie - so it was kind of non-sequiter. I won't get into spoilers, but considering what the villain knows about Hancock, how this person figured they'd be able to actually kill him is beyond |

| Similar to the Scream Awards , I really dig the Saturn Awards because of the types of films they celebrate. Often with awards like the Oscars and the Golden Globes, purely fun films that have every bit of merit as the serious ones get left | However the end result was pretty damned entertaining (the pre-screen audience applauded when it was over), and stick around for a couple of minutes once the credits start rolling to see a really great bonus scene (no need to hang around to the end of the credits, though). Just do me a favor and get a babysitter: Hancock is not a "fun" movie for k |

| The awards will be given out on June 24th, so we have over four months to speculate and choose the nominees we'd give the award to. The categories range from the usual Best Film (separated into Fantasy, Horror, Science Fiction etc) to Best DVD release and Best DVD Special Edit | Seriously though, I feel like this is all a vile bit of strategy to help Fox have a better $ummer at the multiplex in 2009. Think about it: if Watchmen gets knocked off the '09 lineup, it leaves the comic book lane wide open for Fox's own properties, most notably X-Men Origins: Wolverine . The simple truth is that Fox has reason to be scared: since the first trailer premiered , then the fan fervor at this year's Comic-Con , and now acclaimed directors like Kevin Smith spouting gospel about how freakin good Watchmen truly is , the movie has been blown-up as one the most highly anticipated releases of 2009. (Even the original graphic novel has started flying off shelv |

| Here's just some of my quick thoughts on who and what's been nominated: I'm glad to see so many nominations for my favorite show Lost , racking up nine in total (nice to see Josh Holloway finally get recognition for his acting). I'm delighted to see Sam Rockwell get recognition for his fantastic performance in Moon (I was really annoyed that he didn't get nominated for an Osc | It seems that Lawrence Gordon gave Warner Bros. the go-ahead to shoot the film. WB figures he owns the turnaround rights, so they're golden (of course this doesn't explain why they didn't do some due diligence on the situation with a crack team of lawye |

| The film is visually stunning, which is what we've come to expect from Guillermo del Toro, and very well done. The characters are even more at home with each other than they were in the first film and I loved the introduction of Johan Krauss, the ectoplasmic entity contained within an airtight suit. I could have sworn he was being voiced by Jeremy Irons but it turns out it was actually Seth MacFarlane doing the voice work. He really delivered his lines perfectly and somehow made an incredibly pompous and anal retentive character likea | Last year was brutal, as I was covering the Con not only in general for Screen Rant but in particular for AdvancedIron.org , the number one Iron Man fan site in the world (with some help from my pal John Comerford). | When we are reintroduced to our intrepid heroes: Hellboy, Liz and Abe Sapien (this time voiced by Doug Jones, the actor behind the makeup) we see that things have progressed by big H and Liz as far as a romantic relationship, but things are not going well. Hellboy is stuck in his bachelor ways, and on top of that is desperate for their secret group to become pub | When asked about whether Hancock 2 would be his next film AFTER Battleship , Berg said he wants to do Lone Survivor , which tells the tale of, "17 seals that were killed in one gunfight in Afghanistan. One survived." But what about after that? Well, Berg didn't say, but hasn't ruled out a sequel to his action-adventure, The Rundown . He's not sure why there hasn't already been plans put in place to do The Rundown 2 , but said he'd definitely be up for doing anot |

| However, when Berg sounded pretty excited about directing Hancock 2 , that was before he landed the Battleship gig , a big-screen adaptation set for release in 2011 with a production start date of Spring 2010. That ties Berg up a lot for what I would guess would be the better part of a year. And that appears to be one of the big reasons why we shouldn't expect Hancock 2 anytime s | When Kick-Ass eventually does get a release, it'll be interesting to see how it does at the box office. Much in the same way as Watchmen , this isn't a well known property outside the "comic book geek" world, and like Watchmen it's very violent. By now we know how (not) great Watchmen did at the box office ; however Wanted (another little-known comic book adapted into a violent movie) was a surprise hit at the box office, so who kn |

| The director and two producer/writers keep the energy bearable and the information fascinating over 683 minutes of the trilogy discussing the incredible five-year production. From selling the scripts to casting decisions, a 15-month shoot to revolutionizing the art of motion capture, and a handful of visual effects discussions, these three know everything you need to know about the fantasy tale. And I mean everyth | "To get us all in the same room where we can talk and then agree on anything? You'll never meet a group of people who will have a harder time agreeing on anything... | I also liked the amount of collateral damage he caused at the beginning of the film and the real-world reactions to it. One of the things you learn as a comic book fan is that you probably wouldn't want to live in a city where they fight crime. They cause millions in damage every time the fight some supervill | Enduring the almost literally ear splitting (due to the almost non-stop screaming of female fans) Twilight panel, having to listen to questions from the audience like "boxers or briefs," and watching some of the castmembers totally work the audience with their "yeah I know I'm hot" attit |

| Today marks the day when the nominations for the 36th Annual Saturn Awards are given out. In case you're not familiar with them, they are given out by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films (they also include TV shows and stage productions) so as a reader of Screen Rant I believe they're right up your alley | |

| Director Guillermo del Toro's fingerprints are all over this, right from the start of the film. We actually meet Hellboy as a, well, boy - and this gives John Hurt a chance to cameo as the adopted father of Hellboy, despite his having died in the first film. Seeing our big red buddy as a cute little child with big buck teeth was a bit weird, although he was very cute and wide-e | Embrey brings him home and invites him in for dinner where Hancock meets Embrey's son and wife (Charlize Theron). Our hero is not accustomed to being around families in general or children in particular and has dinner conversation skills that leave a lot to be desired as far as Embrey's wife, Mary is concerned. She spends the evening looking at Hancock as someone she'd like to get away from her family A |

| Adding to the weird feeling at the start of the film was an animated sequence that gave us a visual of the bedtime story that Hurt was telling Hellboy - although the story consisted of humans, elves and trolls, the humans were portrayed as featureless wooden dolls. It was very interesting visually, but more than a bit strange. The story basically sets up the premise of the film, in which there was a huge war between men and the elves. The Elves were losing and had the trolls build them a golden, mechanical army of "70 times 70" soldiers - the soldiers obeyed whoever wore a golden crown and were emotionless killing machi(Image: [[https://ecdn.teacherspayteachers.com/cdn-cgi/image/format=avif,quality=70,onerror=redirect/thumbitem/Latin-Games-Beginner-Bundle-5789267-1750591848/750f-5789267-4.jpg|https://ecdn.teacherspayteachers.com/cdn-cgi/image/format=avif,quality=70,onerror=redirect/thumbitem/Latin-Games-Beginner-Bundle-5789267-1750591848/750f-5789267-4.jpg]]) | He tries to convince Hancock that in order to be really effective, that people have to love him - in fact they should love him since he fights crime and saves lives.
