Actors often like to have fun with AMAs and interviews as such, but occasionally tease things that could be true. The way its written seems more of a joke than anything, but it wouldn't be the first time an actor has hinted at a possible return. Vaas returning to Far Cry 6 may even mean the next game is a sequel to Far Cry 3 as well. Considering how iconic Vaas has become for the franchise since its third iteration, his return would be interesting considering he presumably died at the end of Far Cry | Obviously this year is proving to be a bit strange for the games industry, Ubisoft included. Where a certain AAA failure forced it to delay many of its upcoming titles, issues related to COVID-19 have made things even worse. But there is hope, with Assassin's Creed Valhalla coming to next-gen consoles later this year. Only thing missing is the reveal for Far Cry 6 , which is also apparently slated for this fiscal y |

| A nameless, faceless, voiceless protagonist once again feels like a significant backstep. While it is fun to make a bald, bearded Lou Contaldi to liberate Hope County, I think it is a decision that naturally leads to most games feeling narratively half-baked. When I'm unable to interact with the characters outside of receiving direction, I end up feeling like a backseat passenger (who happens to be doing all the wo | Basically the only thing that Far Cry fans can assume is that if the game is unveiled in a few weeks, it will likely be slated for 2021. Just based on previous release history, recent Far Cry games are typically announced a little under a year away from release. Again, assuming Covid-19 hasn't caused any production/development delays, that will likely hold true for Far Cry 6 as well . It's also worth noting that the last three Far Cry releases ( Far Cry Primal , Far Cry 5 , and Far Cry New Dawn ) have all released within a Spring release win |

| Hopefully for now the [[https://farcry6zone.com/|far cry 6 collectibles|Https://farcry6zone.com/]] Cry 6 reveal will be a pleasant surprise, assuming its shown at Ubisoft Forward. Even though there's not much known about the actual game, everyone seems to know that Far Cry 6 exists. Considering four out of five of Ubisoft's triple-A releases have been unveiled and one of them is supposed to be a Far Cry title, Ubisoft Forward will likely reveal the next game in the ser | Among other rumors and leaks, the next game in the off-kilter shooter franchise has been confirmed to be in development from leakers and big name media who've been correct before. Assuming Far Cry 6 takes place on an island, Ubisoft could introduce intense tropical storms that cause limited visibility and strong wi | Jason is just a frustrating whiny character, and Arjay is just... well he has no character. Ubisoft even went as far as making a silent protagonist in Far Cry 5 , which completely took us out of the story. | While the set-up to the game and opening few hours are fantastic, the title begins unraveling the more you play. Without going too much into story spoilers, there just wasn't enough time dedicated to the script or the enemies to bring anyone to life. The game has its significant emotional moments, acts of betrayal, and tragic deaths that try to draw an emotional gut punch. However, as you only ever deal with the major characters of the game a handful of times within the short 22-mission story arc, none of those emotional moments ever feel earned. I can't be bothered to care about someone who I've spoken with tw | As for what to expect, it's tough to say. There's very little known about the next Far Cry that isn't just a rumor or corroborated with another source. Most of the "leaks" just allege that Far Cry 6 certainly exists in some capacity, which may be true but that's a little more than obvious at this point. Each gameplay/story leak alleges something completely different, ranging from a sequel to Far Cry 3 with Vaas as a returning character to the return of a tropical setting and helping zoos with jetpacks and "Narcos" inspired elements . In case the second part of that sentence wasn't enough, it's also important to note that there's little to no backing/evidence for any of these leaks. Some early leaks for a North Korea setting were bolstered by a Far Cry /Ubisoft fan survey, but that was not conclusive by any me |

| Despite the middling score, I hope Far Cry New Dawn indicates and speaks to the future of the Far Cry series. Every risk and change that Ubisoft brought to New Dawn pays off in dividends and is a boon to the series. And though the RPG progression and world-building is a smart pivot, it's no substitution for meek and half-hearted narratives -- even when it comes at a value retail price out the g | _ Far Cry 4 _ played with this idea a little bit, but the factions were specifically part of the plot. You only got to side with one faction or the other at the very end. A faction system that is affected by gameplay would be a welcome addition. You could take down an outpost, then decide which faction gets to control it. It would be a nice change of pace and would open many story possibilities since you’re constantly changing the flow of battle between these factions. To make things interesting, each faction could also have their own perk that solely belongs to them. Meaning you can't use that perk unless you are partnered with them at the time. This would make the choices a lot toug |

| Psycho Mantis' charisma was unlike anything else I had seen at the time it came out in 1998; above all else, he effectively broke the fourth wall. Sure, adventure games and other games had done this, but it was a stark contrast to the rest of the game, which takes itself seriously for the most part. This was important because whereas all the other characters were reflections of Snake, Psycho Mantis was also a reflection on the player and their ability to solve puzzles and be creative. While the game helped the player through this, Mantis was designed to see through the guise of Snake and the game, and really throw a wrench into the way we played games. He read the player's memory card and made the controller vibrate via the new (at the time) rumble feature. With his dying breath, he allows Snake to progress, commenting that helping people feels "kind of nice," alluding to what might have been had he lived longer. His dialogue taunting the player and the mystery that surrounded him led him an undeniable air of personality that I continue to remember, over a decade after first playing the game. | |

| Overall, it seems Ubisoft has been casting a wide net to determine where the Far Cry franchise could go next. That being said, the next entry may be coming within the next year, as late as spring of 2021 according to Ubisoft's fiscal year release schedule. Far Cry 6 may even be a potential sequel or set in the same universe as Far Cry 3 assuming Michael Mando is being more coy than playful. Or the game may go even further outside the box than usual and explore something completely new. Summer's gaming events should give us some more concrete i | Fans should hear more relatively soon, as Ubisoft's recently announced digital showcase comes in July, which should provide a major update for several of these franchises. Hopefully Far Cry 6 will be among the announcements and hopefully a legitimate release schedule is also revealed, as that's a lot of games to pack into a relatively small amount of t |

| | GLaDOS' charisma comes from her rather unique sense of humor as she mocks the player through each level. However, the further you get into the Portal series, you realize that her humor is something of a defense mechanism, and the only way she seems to be able to retain what small bit of sanity she still has after she has been assaulted with personality cores and the rest of the mad scientists at Aperture. She is evil, but she also seems to genuinely care about her job. Her personality is one that fluctuates and changes throughout the game. She is an entertaining villain because she has real personality, as she goes through a full spectrum of emotions throughout the two games. She is arguably the best written character that gaming has ever seen, as her subtle nuances make her more than just an evil AI. Maybe it is something akin to Stockholm Syndrome, but she sometimes seems to actually care about you. Or maybe she is just an AI that plays mind games to make you think that. Either way, GLaDOS is one of the most complex and enjoyable villains in gaming. |

| On the other end, adding RPG elements to every game is going to come with one notable shortfall: grind. And there is a repetitive grind in Far Cry New Dawn , whether it is going through the procedurally generated Expeditions or letting outposts fall back into the hands of Highwaymen scum. A lot of the game is going to be chasing after materials to upgrade and purchase better weapons; on the plus side, this feels like more of a balancing issue and less like a way for Ubisoft to target money with progression microtransactions (even if those are readily availab | (Image: [[https://cdn.aktivcommunication.cz/images/products/screens/53/1080x1080x1/117.jpg|https://cdn.aktivcommunication.cz/images/products/screens/53/1080x1080x1/117.jpg]])Obviously that would be conjecture if it weren't for the many rumors and leaks that back this up. Most notably, back when Ubisoft confirmed five triple-A titles were releasing during the 2020-2021 fiscal year, all but one of these games have been officially revealed. So far, Assassin's Creed Valhalla , Watch Dogs: Legion , Rainbow Six Quarantine , and Gods & Monsters have been unveiled. Many reports since then have stated that Far Cry 6 is the fifth triple-A title coming from Ubisoft this fiscal year. Several other rumors and leaks have corroborated this as well, among other unconfirmed gameplay deta |
