| On the flip side, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint 's struggling state may have strongly affected Ubisoft's core franchises in big ways. Breakpoint received plenty of criticisms for microtransactions , repetitive gameplay, and several other issues. Some managed to do just that exceedingly well, but no E3 would be complete without a few missteps, a few blown opportunities, and several decisions that had gamers everywhere scratching their he |

| It's worth mentioning that Ubisoft's 2020-2021 fiscal year is one of the most packed release years for Ubisoft in recent history, in terms of AAA games. Additions like Gods and Monsters , along with mainstays like Watch Dogs: Legion , have to fit in somewhere between a full-length Assassin's Creed game and probably the next Far Cry . It's a stark contrast from last fiscal year, where Ubisoft had its lightest release slate in recent years with only three AAA games. Now it seems Ubisoft is going all-in and releasing several core entries in some of the publisher's biggest franchises thus [[https://Farcry6zone.com/|far cry 6 money guide|https://farcry6zone.com/]], but the challenge here is going to be perception. Many are going to be distrusting after Breakpoint's debacle, so the delivery of these games are going to have to be up to sn | Of course that would be conjecture if it weren't for Jason Schreier, formerly of Kotaku, stating that Far Cry was among the Ubisoft's release slate for this year. There were plenty of Far Cry 6 rumors flying around the internet prior to Schreier's comments on Twitter, but his voice carries plenty of weight throughout the game industry. Considering he was right about Assassin's Creed Valhalla being one of the five aforementioned AAA games eventually revealed and its viking theme, Far Cry is likely on the way as w |

| There's a high-demand for games set in Japan. Whether it's set in the age of the Samurai or the modern Yakuza, there's plenty of room for exploration. And since Assassin's Creed keeps skipping this highly demanded region , a Far Cry game set here would be interesting. Notably, Far Cry 6 set in modern Japan could theoretically be more urban than most games in the franchise, but many thought Montana was impossible prior to its announcem | Ubisoft specifically notes Far Cry 's "sustained growth" in its most recent earnings call press release, so the franchise is in a very positive state for the publisher at the moment. Fans can likely expect the next Far Cry __ to come out around the end of its 2020-2021 fiscal year, similar to previous entries. Ubisoft's release slate the past three or four years has remained relatively consistent, with the bi-annual Assassin's Creed games coming out in the fall and Far Cry games coming out in the spring. Far Cry 6 will likely follow suit, more than likely releasing sometime between February and April 2021, according to its fiscal y |

| It's worth mentioning that Ubisoft has put out a survey before, asking for input on possible locations, and one of those was an environment-survival game based in Alaska. In other words, alongside fighting against the primary antagonist in the region, the harsh climate of Alaska would be a common factor. With its low population, variety of regions such as its Denali Mountain and Aleutian Islands, and economy based on fishing, natural gas, and oil, there's a lot of potential story angles for Far Cry | On the flip side, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint 's struggling state may have strongly affected Ubisoft's core franchises in big ways. | New events unfolded on a weekly basis, and with the new challenge system players had lots of rewards to chase. Destiny 2: Forsaken got a lot of things right, and if the future of Destiny is anything like it is now after Forsaken, then Destiny fans have a lot to look forward to for the first time in a long t | Fans should hear more relatively soon, as Ubisoft's recently announced digital showcase comes in July, which should provide a major update for several of these franchises. Hopefully Far Cry 6 will be among the announcements and hopefully a legitimate release schedule is also revealed, as that's a lot of games to pack into a relatively small amount of t |

| Recent Far Cry games have been masterful in weaving the series' signature insanity into the narrative to make characters and the story more intimidating or exciting. But gameplay elements in recent entries have just felt like good shooters, not necessarily an insane experience. Obviously adding more "insanity" to the gameplay would need to be handled with some nuance, considering gun durability and the high enemy encounter rate in Far Cry 2 saw plenty of complaints. That said, adding elements of unpredictability that influences player vulnerability could help to mix up the gameplay and provide more of a challenge. Games like Breath of the Wild incorporated vulnerable gameplay mechanics in interesting ways, so Far Cry 6 could easily do something simi | Right now, next to nothing is known about the Ubisoft's upcoming [[https://Farcry6Zone.com/|far cry 6 guide|https://farcry6zone.com/]] Cry 6 and Electronic Arts' Battlefield 6 . | The Far Cry series loves to write entertaining villains. They don’t seem to be lacking in that department. What they do need to work on, however, are their protagonists. A villain is only as good as its hero counterp | Far Cry , the very first game, took place in Micronesia, while Far Cry 2 took the franchise to Africa. Far Cry 3 brought in the iconic villain Vaas Montenegro and took place on Rook Island in the Pacific. The next numbered entry took players to the Himalayas and pitted them against Pagan Min, while Far Cry 5 brought players to Montana in a fight against a religious cult. And these are only the number entries, practically beginning the question of where Far Cry 6 will |

Here are ten things we hope Ubisoft inclu | These settings often accentuate the story and are key elements of the franchise's story telling. Each game only makes sense in the context of its setting, and each time, the location looks better than the last. Assuming Far Cry 6 releases on PS5 and Xbox Series X, it seems certain that the location will be interesting and beautiful, and bring the franchise forward. Players may be excited to see who the next antagonist will be, the overall view of the story, but they are as equally excited to see the reveal of a setting, something that can't be said for some ga |

| Perhaps the most interesting rumor thus far comes from a Reddit AMA with the franchise's most iconic villain. Earlier in April, Vaas actor Michael Mando was answering fan questions regarding both Far Cry 3 as well as his role in AMC's Better Call Saul as Nacho Varga . One of the questions asked of Mando was "Do you still get recognized as Vaas or do more people see you as Nacho now?" Mando responded in general his love for the character Vaas that he co-created during Far Cry 3 's development, but also went on to mention that he may be able to reprise the role "very soon," seemingly as a j | In many ways, Far Cry 3 is often considered the series' best entry, serving to both modernize and cement the franchise's popularity among fans. Vaas served as a genuinely intimidating villain, while the gameplay mechanics were honed and perfected from previous games into a satisfying shooter experience. With Far Cry 6 on the horizon, fans are likely expecting a similar revolution from the third game for the next generation. But before Far Cry 3 , the game wouldn't have existed without some serious innovation on the part of its predecessor Far Cry |

| This one would be something new and refreshing for the series. Yes, they did have Far Cry: Primal , which took place in the Prehistoric ear. This would be different though. They could set you in a specific time period. There are plenty of other time periods they could tackle. Not only that, but the weaponry would also be different for that era. We will still want a place in time that at least had guns. Primal is an underrated game, but Far Cry should always be a shoo | That awkward interaction, unfortunately, looked like a live performance of Shakespeare at The Old Globe when compared to Reggie Fils-Aime's witty banter with Scott Moffitt. Since Nintendo's Press Conference was primarily focused on the Wii U, Moffitt was only given about five minutes to hype up the 3DS' upcoming slate. The obviously disappointed Moffitt wanted to make sure Fils-Aime knew he felt slighted. His retort? "Thanks a lot Reggie! A couple of minutes? Where's the love?" Cue the gro |
