| Without a doubt, many remember the days where there was constant debate between Battlefield and Call of Duty . Which shooter was better and would leave a bigger mark was constantly tossed back and forth until franchise fatigue began to hit both titles. While both have preserved, it seems that conversation has shifted more toward Call of Duty in recent years, as its recent string of games have been seemingly better received than Battlefield | At the end of the day, both games will hopefully be caliber shooters. Regardless of setting, reveal, or even release date, gamers win as long as both games deliver on a high quality. That said, there's certainly some fun to the Battlefield vs. Call of Duty debate, and it would be interesting for it to return in good nature. No doubt, if both Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty release fall/holiday 2021, it means good competition. In turn, that means that each game will hopefully be pulling out all the stops. Battlefield 6 seems to be doing that, as it's also reported that the next Need for Speed was delayed in order to get the game additional resour |

| Battlefield 6 has been compared to C all of Duty: Black Ops 2 in the sense that the game will supposedly have a near future setting. This means that players can expect modern weapons alongside some slightly experimental gear, tech, and vehicles, which should make for a fine setting. Specifics of this setting have seen both the concept of World War 3 or the Russian country of Kazakhstan possibly having a role to play, though it is possible that both could be used in the new narrat | As for Call of Duty , the exact opposite has been rumored. According to leaks, the game will be set during World War 2 — the same era that Battlefield 5 occupied back in 2018. While leakers are divided on whether this setting will be traditional or delve into alternate history , most sources seem to believe that Call of Duty will indeed be returning to the 1940s. With Call of Duty: Black Ops taking on the Cold War and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare capturing today’s battles, this decision would make sense, as it allows each year’s release to feel var |

| There is not a lot of information currently released about Battlefield 6, even though the gaming community is expecting a full reveal in the weeks ahead. This is all based on rumors, leaks, and the few comments made by the developers. That being said, it seems the new Battlefield will be a rebirth for the franchise that has made it's mark on the genre by having destructible environments and realistic combat. War Stories are supposedly making a return, which sees players taking on different perspectives in the story. This is very similar to how the campaign worked in Call of Duty: W | (Image: [[https://i.ytimg.com/vi/4E6tS1Tc0GQ/hq720.jpg|https://i.ytimg.com/vi/4E6tS1Tc0GQ/hq720.jpg]])While Battlefield 6 is confirmed to feature more players, EA and DICE have not yet specified the exact count. However, leakers have, with the common claim being that the count will be upped to 128. This would be double the size of Battlefield ’s traditional 64-player multiplayer lobbies, fitting with previous comments that the game would be bigger than ever and more ambitious than other games in the series. While Battlefield 6 will need more than a higher number of players to succeed, it should be a great way to add more action to every ma |

| One of the most exciting rumors about Battlefield 6 is that it will be heavily inspired by Battlefield 3 . If this proves true, players could expect to see a huge focus on Rush, a game mode which has become less of a focus in the last few [[https://Battlefield2042Guide.com|Battlefield 2042 skins|https://Battlefield2042guide.com/]] entries. Maps that offer a greater sense of flow and progression could also be available as well, with something like Operation Metro and its different phases seen in the newest game. Mechanics from the third numbered Battlefield game could make a return, too, with DICE apparently looking to one of its most popular games in an attempt to replicate its succ | |

| Battlefield is no stranger when it comes to featuring destructible environments, and it seems that the franchise instead thrives on such a feature. The first Battlefield game, Battlefield 1942, proved to be an influential title for its time, mostly due to the destruction feature and the large-scale battles. Later entries in the franchise would continue to build upon the mechanics, with the Frostbite engine allowing for more possibilities for destruction in real-time, first seen in Battlefield: Bad Compa | Apparently, the game’s release will be accompanied by a standalone free-to-play battle royale mode. It will reportedly serve as a hub, allowing for combining content from previous titles and supporting up to 128 players . At least three maps are going to be featured from the start: Wake Island, Metro, and Locker. Although not everything on the Internet deserves to be viewed as truth, Reddit moderators have already said that the insider provided them with proof from someone with actual knowledge about the g |

| The final rumor for Battlefield 6 is the question on most players’ minds, and that is whether the game will have a battle royale mode. According to leakers, rumors about Battlefield 6 ’s battle royale offering are legitimate, with the game set to offer one of the popular modes to fans. While Battlefield 5 ’s Firestorm did not find success, DICE could use its first try at such a mode as a steppingstone to something better. | Some of the most recent rumors for Battlefield 6 comes from an unproven source, but both are wildly interesting. One suggests that Battlefield 6 is a hub game for the entire franchise, including separate servers with mechanics, maps, weapons, and gear from the entire franchise. Described as a way for players to enjoy each Battlefield game from the past, fans will apparently be able to enter playlists that are built around WW2 era fights, with others depicting modern battles. Apparently, servers that mix the technology of the different eras together are also in the ca | Every time a new Battlefield drops, there has been a Call of Duty released in tandem. This has sparked a friendly and unspoken rivalry between the two military shooters that has led each game to seek new ways of improving its mechanics. Call of Duty has been notorious for trying strange things with each new entry to stay fresh, while Battlefield has stuck to improving on the gameplay and level detail that has made the series popular. | Going hand in hand with the reboot rumor is the suggestion that Battlefield 6 will have the War Stories feature in place of a traditional singleplayer campaign . Supposedly set to show different parts of the world reacting to and fighting in World War 3, the new War Stories would supposedly feature missions in American suburbs. However, the source on this rumor is a bit less proven than someone like Tom Henderson, meaning that fans should be a bit less confident in information tied to the game's campa | Not all the rumors surrounding Battlefield 6 deserve any attention, but sometimes, they get a hilarious response from developers. That was exactly what happened to a tweet by analyst Roberto Serrano. His list of facts about Battlefield 6 was mocked by the game’s official Twitter account, and for a good reason. Serrano didn’t reveal anything particularly new, mostly sharing the common truth about the game. For that, he received a troll answer from developers who listed obvious facts about spaghetti. Leave it to Reddit, though, to uncover some new potential news about the upcoming Battlefield title. Hardly to anyone’s surprise, the upcoming Battlefield 6 title is likely to feature a battle royale mode, according to the most recent rum |

| It would have to also evolve on top of how DICE has previously handled the War Stories mode: War Stories should flesh out the experiences and make the soldiers or suburban heroes actual people who get affected by this new attack on their homes. Characters could alternate between using guns and the vehicles that have also been really present in the Battlefield universe as w | There are rumors that Battlefield 6 may feature a return of War Stories mode, which are separate campaigns taking part during the same war. In Battlefield 5, players take on the role of multiple perspectives and stories from protagonists across the world during World War 2. While they were on the shorter side, they featured some innovative gameplay and beautiful cinematics. However, this didn't really make the same impression that the original Black Ops, or even Cold War left on audiences, mostly due to a lack of time to flesh out each story. While it is unclear how it would be integrated, or if it would have the same forum function as the old website, having a way to analyze every aspect of a match once again would prove beneficial.
